Good morning Church. I hope that, like me, you are excited about this new day we’ve been given. Not only has the Lord blessed us with a whole new day He has allowed us to move past all of the struggles and hardships of the past two years. I know this has been hard on all of us but Praise the Lord; we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
1 Peter 1:3–7
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (ESV)
Praise the Lord; we have been given a new day. He has given us a living hope, an imperishable inheritance, an undefiled inheritance, and, just as importantly, an inheritance that never fades.
The past two years have been challenging, but they could not touch our great gift of salvation. No doubt it has affected us in many ways, but it couldn’t touch us in the ways that matter the most.
I say all of this to bring you to this vital truth: If you are a Christian, you have an all-powerful Lord actively involved in your life. No matter what Satan throws at you, you will not be defeated. No one is greater than your Lord!
Let me encourage you to live each day with confidence, courage, and a firm conviction that nothing and no one can defeat you. Get back to your life, and most importantly, don’t allow fear to dictate how you live. Live with faith in the One who rules over all things.
