Every year, on the fourth Thursday of November, families across our country gather to indulge in turkey, dressing, and all the fixings we have come to love. We gather with family near and far, enjoy time to talk, catchup, and let us be honest, eat too much, watch too much TV, and if we are lucky, take a wonderful nap.

Thanksgiving is a great holiday. It is great for many reasons although I have to admit that I am still grateful for the food. Most of all, I am grateful for the time with family. 2 Corinthians 9:12-14

I must admit that I really like Thanksgiving. It is a great holiday. A time where we are encouraged to reflect on the past and present with a positive viewpoint. We are told to be thankful; told to look at all the great things our God has given us. Continue reading “Thanksgiving and Overindulgence.”
