Central Haywood Church of Christ has several Churches of Christ Disaster Response Organizations that are in town and ready to assist with recovery from the recent floods.

We are providing:

Prepackaged Food Boxes

Personal Hygiene Supplies

Cleaning Supply Kits

Infant Care Kits

Water

Bleach

Various cleaning tools – mops, brooms, etc.

We also have a portable shower unit set up in our rear parking lot for those who need it.

The Churches of Christ Disaster Response Team is gathering volunteers

to assist with clean up for affected homes as well.  While you are here picking up food boxes or supplies, you can make a request for assistance to help clean up at your home.

We will be open from 9AM to 6PM beginning Wednesday morning and will be open

everyday except Sunday.  Sunday morning we will be open for worship service at 10AM but will not be handing out supplies.

We will ask you for some brief information about your needs and request to see your driver’s license for accurate contact information.  Our relief organizations provide assistance long term and can assist with items that have been destroyed in your home such as furniture, appliances, etc. once your home is repaired and this information will help us to provide follow up for long term needs.
